was nice down at Dymchurch earlier had Fresh radio on in the car on way there bit breezy but nice all the same dark clouds to our north but blue skys with the breeze coming off the sea

Hi, quite a pleasant day today, did have one light snow shower whilst I was in town, thought I would share the latest addition to Gravesend skyline, huge wind turbines, although they are actually over at Tilbury Port, didn't know anything about them until the first one went up last week, three are now complete with one still without the top section. Can't say I am in love with them though, blot on the landscape bit like 1960's concrete blocks of flats imo.
They say they will produce 50% of the energy required to run the port - I don't believe that for one second!
Were these things the source of terrible banging noise the other night.... was like pile driving really loud giant style
