    The bit over Ireland should break away from the band currently west of Devon/Cornwall, which should push NE then. It's just how far will it push?

    I drove through there at 10am yesterday as I work at Patshull and live in Codsall. It was starting to drift over the road then.

    If this continues all night there is no way I am getting to work 8 miles away at 7am in the morning! This is the heaviest snow with the biggest flakes I have ever seen!

    Belting down with snow here in South Staffs but if you go by the raintoday forecast precip its all past us by 6pm??

    Well METO had us down for heavy snow from 9pm tonight, that has now changed to 6pm so maybe things happening a little sooner?

    The Beast from the SE is forecast to intensify according to raintoday premium, picking up moisture from the channel I presume!

    Just been out to the shops, still dumping here. One inch on my car roof out of 35 mins of snow! The showers coming in are shifting direction to more East to West direction now so hoping to cop for some of those over Leicester now!

    Hammering down here! Proper dumping and the heaviest snow I have seen this cold spell. I reckon lots more showers tonight but not been picked up by BBC or MO!
