Been lurking but I don't post as much as I get carried away and end up banned lol. Still not getting my hopes up too much for next week but I can't help getting excited. -
The snow is coming! Don't worry we'll all see buckets of it I'm sure as soon as systems bump into the freezing cold air it'll be a case of digging yourself out for days.

I hope it snows but not getting my hopes up as we all know it can and usually does go wrong. I highly doubt there will be apocalyptic scenes due to snow as the models are showing.

If it looks too good to be true then it usually is. It'll probably be the usual where it gets downgraded a day out and we end up with a 3 day cold spell.

Still waiting for a nationwide event where low lying areas have significant snowfall like 2010.

Hi, if you type in digoo weather station into eBay it should come up. It comes with a wireless external sensor which requires batteries. Shocked how accurate it is for the price. Nice little weather station off eBay, very accurate and only £11.99. at least I can get an accurate temp reading now.

I always thought the BBC got their forecasts from the METO? Don't know how they can both have different forecasts for tomorrow very confusing!

Could be a decent snow event for you lot tomorrow, not getting too excited down south but BBC forecast looked very good. Expect warnings to be updated this morning.

If they forecast rain they always get it right but if there's a chance of snow they'll cover their butts. Mind you, that was a good forecast and he mentioned snow coming down to fairly low levels and could be problematic.

They tend to contradict themselves all the time. The chart above shows snow over Cardiff yet the automated forecast shows heavy rain and 5c. Going to set my weather station up later and we'll see if it snows.

Can't see much snow unless you live very high up or on a mountain.
