  1. Sorry it's a bit off topic.... I was just wondering where you are getting your temperature information from. I used http://www.meteogroup.co.uk/home.html last year, but I think they have deleted the temperature page that used to be updated hourly. What do you use?
  2. Snow has almost left the UK! (According to the map) I swear the ice around Svalbard is slowly edging towards Norway.... Also, Hudson Bay looks to have finally frozen over completely.
  3. I'm in student halls this year and its rather cold without the heating on already. I'm not looking forward to the prospective indoor temps during next weeks cold snap.
  4. All the discussion on long lasting snow patches seems to be over at WinterHighland this year. Here's the link.
  5. 1.8c here and still snowing. Need it to drop another 1c.
  6. I will say that the cold spell is over when all the snow is gone. Warmest day today here since the 17th of December 2009, maximum of 4.1c.
  7. Only got down to -12.0c last night. Altnaharra broke the -20c barrier, it was -22.1c there at 8am.
  8. Finally reached -11c here. I had hopes of Altnaharra breaking -20c tonight but the temperature there has risen 0.1c in the last hour from -17.2c to -17.1c.
  9. -10.8c here. In regard to the fog which some people are reporting, I understand that when the famous -27.2c was reached in Braemar in 1982 it was foggy.
  10. Im colder than you for once. Max of -4.5c and currently -9.9c.
  11. -8.2c here. -4.5c maximum today and college is closed again tomorrow. I am now at the point where I want to go in! Exams soon.
