    After having a few storms around today, I was listening to talk sport radio and could hear a crackle when lightening was about. My question is, how far can an AM Radio detect a lightening strike, i.e. the crackle??

    This popped just to the North of me today, but say its been pretty dark with angry looking clouds, but it just sweeps over! Can guarentee we will get hit cause im off fishing tomorrow

    Must be because mine is in a sheltered corner of me garden, as I'm showing 1.8c currently...thank you for laughing at me

    I was shocked how quickly the temps have dropped even though its blue sky & sunshine now, reached a maximum of 5/6 about 2 hours a go or more, now down to 2.7c?? Looking at your temps Paul, think I might need to check mine out as almost 2 degree's is quite a lot considering we are not that far apart. My Gauge isnt in the sunshine either!

    I'm amazingly showing 3.8c here, warmest temp in weeks for me!! Looking forward to the next wave of snow...hopefully

    Im in total Limbo...Ive got a fishing trip coming up next weekend, but would love to see some snow just so my little boy can have his first play in some!! I'm guessing by all the models we just still dont know "IF" we will get some snow until tomorrow afternoon??
