    Cannot believe how unlucky i am with this lol! All that snow has been skirting down the eastern side of me....heck even 5mins away in Wendover theres a dumping! and has been for the last 2-3hours! Wow! Unlucky or what!?!

    Yayyyy, well im forecast a stream of snow over me later this evening from roughly 9pm til 3am going by the bbc weather map with the 24hr forecast image going with heavy snow between midnight and 3am Friday. Also Netweather are also going along the lines of this!

    Wow this thread is buzzing!! No one live in Central Southern England apart from me? lol Snow potential looking good in this part of the world Thursday Night and into Friday Morning! Lets hope this pulls off and becomes....atleast.... a decent enough event!

    I have a good chance of seeing snow falling Thursday night into Friday. The thing is its forecast by Netweather to be 'V.light' - Doesn't sound very interesting to put it bluntly. Should i be taking this with a pinch of salt, or is this what is expected for us?

    Well I thought Saturday was forecast to be SNOW with accumulations. Temps are forecast to be negative through the night and throughout the day for the best part of the UK, if im right. EDIT: Saying that.....Monday into Tuesday has better prospects of snow according to Netweather forecast. Doh Good, more prolonged stuff ALWAYS being put back and then not happening! lol

    Yeah too rite! I hope things change for the better. The thing is, this is 1 run people are looking at and thinking is real rubbish. But seriously, this has been going on for ages now, 1 run looks good, the other complete rubbish and then we wake up in the morning and walaaaaaa - it's an amazing upgrade. Calm down people, im sure things will change!

    No, but don't you think it makes sense to look at the coming day or two which is changing here there and everywhere rather then even further out which, obviously of which you must know now....will change and will be unpredictable. I wanna know whats happening with the models now, not drivel about later on. Good to look at, not to talk about.

    Well, considering I was forecast light snow here with a temp of 0C right up until early afternoon, they sure got that wrong! It's now raining for christ sake! Now just dull, damp and murky, likes it been for the past 2days or more! erghhh.....

    I have snow forecast for my area thursday into friday - should the precip totals on the netweather forecasts be taken with a pinch of salt? I ask because it says V.light throughout the period of snowfall through the night. Wouldn't amount to much would it? :o

    Yep your just about right, mainly rain a few sleety like things lol! Ahwell As for coming on here to see whats happening with the models, no one actually knows what theyr on about and whats going to happen. All im gonna do is wait and see what the weather does on the day. Which.......is the best way to deal with the weather! Night everyone!

    Yep, too right. Been -1 here since around 9pm. Thick fog coming and going, starting to get an ice on the surface....niiiiiice

    It's not nice is it....but i suppose when you follow the models and everything from far out were bound to be dissapointed in the long run, might aswell just see what the weather does day by day instead of looking into the future lol .... im prepped up for being dissapointed anyway :lol: It is interesting seeing what does get dished out each day though!!
