Not a cloud in the sky... bright moon outside. I do hope I have not hyped my kids up for nothing.
Some lovely pics folks, keep em coming.

Last time Arriva (the company we have) stopped running because of the snow here was March 2005 - they had 15cm then, so a possibility I would imagine!
Thanks... I wonder if the london bus company will have anything on their web page? Seems a bit cruel to have to take the kids if they have snow to play in

Dont know where to post this question, but i thought you southerners would know. My kids ride a double decker bus too and from school. Do you think they will be running tomorrow????
Had a 15min spell of some rather heavy snow.. now the clouds breaking up.

Blowing snow....kids faces pressed against the window... AHHHHH good stuff

MetO warnings look rather odd???? Bright green swath in the middle for the london area. Could that indicate a dry swath or warm up?? Now Im really confuzzed

Hi all. Been lurking here for a bit now. Love reading about all the excitement. My hubby has just been called out to go drive the grit truck in central London. Goodness knows when I will see him again if we get a good pasting! I'm used to tracking severe storms and hurricanes (lived in Florida for 6 years). Still learning about the UK synoptic set up and such.
I'm in Ewell currently and have broken cloud cover... It is bitterly cold out in the wind though. Lots of curtain twitching going on
Best of luck to ya all. Hope to see loads of pics

Thanks JACKONE for adding Chatel for me. Could be an interesting experience for me....ever seen a 4 year old on skis??? I do hope we get some nice snow and of course the kids will be praying for a snowy christmas day (one can dream..or wishcast).

The family and I will be off to Chatel in France over the Christmas period. Please would you add this location to your list.
Many Thanks
