    Currently 1.6C here on the Merseyside/West Lancs border. Still frost laying where the sun's not reached - kinda hazy with the sun straining through it. Makes for a very seasonal feeling day. Any snow prospects for us overnight do you think?

    Precipitation defo looks a little more than rain at the moment - a bit sleety now I'd say. Suppose that's as close to snow as I'm gonna get! Temps just a little below freezing still.

    Snow has now started to settle nicely - didn't look like it was going to for a while, but temp is now 0.5 and it's coming down heavier and with decent flake size.

    Well we got maybe about 1cm overnight here - and it had mostly thawed as the day wore on. Showers on and off this afternoon. Now snowing for about half an hour and beginning to settle a little again. Please let it keep coming!

    Currently -2C here on the Merseyside/West Lancs border. Another frost with a little high cloud giving the sky that lovely pinkish hue. Doubt we'll get any precipitation at all now looking at that little system breaking down.
