    Can easily see it from Chesterfield as well. Looking at the satellite there is nothing in between here and the storm to suggest it is another storm or whatever in between There was a better opportunity around 30 minutes ago where it looked like a line of huge Cauliflowers, but there were a load of kids player football and I would have looked dodgy taking pictures lol

    I've missed it all back home @ChezWeather Apparently last night was a real show around Chesterfield Nothing down here in Bournemouth as of yet, unless later on brings something with that lot over the channel

    Visibility isn't great looking from Bournemouth toward the SW, very hazy. Can only just make Sandbanks out it's that bad, but it looks like something is approaching from a fairly dark looking SW direction towards the Swanage area

    Blimey. Blue skies coming through. It's bloomin hot.? Hardly no cloud to block the sun now like an hour ago...its more or less gone This place is crazy this year (for the obvious reasons)

    A bit like yesterday. Travelling from Southampton this morning to Bournemouth it look so promising but although it is high cloud and not threatening anything, over the last hour or so it has really covered over with just the odd glimpse of sun. See what the next week brings whilst we are down here. Oh and sod the beaches they are rammed. It is ridiculous around the pier at the moment..

    What the hell has happened with the forecast? In Southampton at the moment and I'm sure all this cloud and approaching rain was not forecast

    As mentioned last night. Just after the storm had passed. The pictures do not really show the full effect.

    How the heck do you upload images from a Samsung mobile. None are showing what I'm uploading. None are above 200kb. The pictures I have just took looking over Chesterfield are stunning
