    North Wales Weather

Just some pictures of the current weather in the Llangollen & Denbighshire area.
  2. Currently moderately snowing, though now weakening.. Around an inch of snow currently on the ground. Temperature 1.1c Dewpoint -3.2c
  3. Nothing but rain here today, even the ground above 300m had very little in the way of wintry precipitation. I'm guessing the snow line must have been 400m+ around here. I'm kinda glad we didn't get anything, we've had way too much snow around here over the past month!
  4. That happened here as well, we had about 5 minutes of really heavy snow and then it suddenly changed to rain.
  5. Same here, we've got nearly 7 inches from this event!
  6. It's just started snowing here, although it is fairly light at the moment. Anyone any idea how much we're expecting around here?, we have already got around 4 inches lying from last week.
  7. The band is pivoting and moving back westwards? We already have nearly a foot here it's been snowing since 3pm, I really don't want anymore snow now
  8. We've had about 8 hours of non stop snow now. The whole system keeps pivoting right over us, amazing
  9. We got an amazing amount of snow from this event, and it's still pivoting over us. I heard parts of Cheshire, including Chester got well over 6 inches of snow from this event. So far, we've gotten 9-10 inches from this band
  10. It's fully pivoted back over us now. I think we must be approaching a foot now, probably 11.5 inches. Anyone that is around North Wales, avoid the horseshoe pass route, it is closed.
  11. I've heard reports that Chester has over 10 inches of snow O_o Can anyone confirm this? I could believe it, since we've got just around a foot here now!
  12. Finally!, it looks as if the precipitation is starting to fizzle out now. The current depth is 11 inches, about 9 inches fell from 14:00 - 20:00. There are drifts up the sides of the roads that are well over a foot. It will be highly interesting to see the amount that fell on the Horseshoe Pass
  13. It's still snowing here, 10.5 inches and counting.
  14. Yeah the roads are really deadly now, I wouldn't even dare going outside to drive in it. The scary part is that it looks as if we're only half way through the band, it seems to be pivoting right over this area as it's moving south. At this rate, we could possibly see a foot of snow O_o
  15. If you're on the north coast, quite possibly yes.
