Aye Catch, I noticed the difference a couple of week back when me n' Mrs Big Innes had a wee day oot in St Andrews and then drove doon the East Coast through Ainster etc. The Combine Harvesters were everywhere and the crops looking plentiful. Here in the West O' Fife the summers have been changed to the Annual West Fife Monsoon which now seem tae last from June tae, the next April. The ground and Fields through here are so wet that any salvageable Harvests are done by a Fermur oan a Dredger. Big Innes

  3. Catch, Lets hope that this is Mother Nature making up for all the past numerous years O' wet pash! A bit warmer would be nice though as it's fekin cauld in the East wind. Whit a treat here at the moment tae be able to walk on the park, walkways and even Fermurs Fields withoot being ankle tae knee deep in mud! Big likin this dry withur Innes

  8. Just had a live stream snaw fix while Skyping our oldest daughter and wee grandson who are living in Vancouver Island. They have had snaw for the past three days now and it was falling moderately all the time we were on. They have also had a weather warning today for eh, even mair snaw! Will we get anything fae this wee cauld spell, time will tell eh. Big Innes

  11. A bit different up here Blitzy! Managed an early walk with the wee Grandson while it was white frost and brilliant sunshine here till 12.15pm when the fog rolled over and has been foggy and cold since. Last Saturday was brilliant sunshine and a boot 4 inches o' snaw when I was towing the wee grandson and his mum a boot oan a sledge behind the quad bike. Overcast mild and boring between these days though!!! Big Innes

  13. A wee covering O' snaw here noo and the wind seems tae be getting up again. Thanks take that fkn truck driver mah journey tae work this morning took 1hr 45 mins and 2 fkn hrs 10 mins tae get back hame this evening! Ah could hoof the Bassa in the fkn nuts!!!   15. Second day in a row here with foggy/misty conditions all day with visibility between 50 - 100 meters, little or no breeze and temps @ about 8 Deg C! Hopping that we all see some of the white stuff later in the coming week and through next weekend? Would be good if Big Grampies Innes can get oot in the Snaw with the wee grandson!   19. Ah the weekend again eh! Stuck in the office all week while we had crisp winter like days, Sun shine and the trees and landscape in the shade at below 0 temps creating a scene face a Christmas caird and it would have been magical tae be oot n' a boot. Take the youngest daughter tae her works Chritmas night oot in Stirling last night and pick her up again just after 12 midnight and the drive their and back shows some nippy _5 / _6 Deg C temps, patches o' freezing fog and villages so frosted up they looked as if they were in Alaska. Nae work the day, mah time is mine eh! Whaurs mah fkn froasty winters wonderland, oh aye a CAULD front is passing through and WARMING everything up!!! Jeez O' Big Innes

  23. Right then, time tae venture back in an see whit's gaun oan! There appears tae be much excitement in the MT aboot a first pending cauld snap/spell as early as next mid week and how much Nothern Blocking there is this Autumn. Ahm sure some of oor very learned Scottish members can bring us A' up tae speed eh! Big Innes
