Hi, Not to pee anyone off but its blowing an absolute hooly(spelling?) here in buxton, loads of snow and i guess mega drifts :lol: I,m off out in abit so i will report back. Hi again, falls errr yes you could say that!! I was at work yesterday ( large 600 acre site) and had to go onto one area that hadn't been touched since the 21 dec and it was 18"+ deep Its just getting silly now and i hear through the grapevine derbyshire has little/no salt left I must put some pictures up sometime as it is truly incredible , where i work we have been clearing snow and it is now piled up 10 foot plus high, i havent seen it this bad for years ! Hi, here in the peak district we have had lying snow since around the 22nd of dec and to be honest if i didn't need to go to work then it would be great it can snow as much as it likes. But it really is getting to be pain now, dont get me wrong i love snow i think most people on NW do. We are having road closures because of it and most people dont have any knowledge of how to drive in/on snow. As for getting about i don't have a problem as i bring the firms Hagglund home with me ( do a google for a bv206 ) So yes snow is great i love it , if i didn't have to operate as i normally do then bring it on regards

Hi, Buxton might be a good shout for you , train drops you in the town then you have a 1.5 mile walk up to solomons temple. You will get stunning view from up there. Just a thought hope you find somewhere. Kind regards,

Hi again, Its fairly fine and powdey but the full extent of the fron isn't over us yet. Looking at the radar ( as we know is not always 100% correct) i,m guessing it will be moderate rather than heavy. If it changes i will let you know. Cheers, keviwal
