last night at about 3am we had about 2 inches and it was snowing heavily and when i looked outsid 2 hours later it was gone! i m fed up with this everytime it snows by the time it gets to around 6 am its gone . im not trusting the snow on saturday or sunday and to be honest with you i think its being a bit biased .

im a bit worried that the snow might come and not settle because even though its around -1c the concrete isnt frozen ealier it did lie on the grass but not on the concrete? is this what it was like at your place ronan?

yea i agree its very very slow and because of how slow it is i hope it porduces about 2-5cm for the snow coming after that?

how much should i expect at the end up of this snow because i already have 1cm on the grass , when should limavady get the heavier snow?

hi ya its been snowing very lightly for the past 1 hr and half with a current temperature of -0.5c and the grass is starting to go white and i dont know why the ground isnt? ronan how heavy is the snow at your place? could you also tell me if there is a heavier band of snow coming in?

thnx when is the rain ment to turn to snow and when is the main band of snow to come?

roanan is there any possibility that it will turn to snow because i think its light drizzly rain down here and snow above about 50m even though its 1.5c

ronan is it stopped snowing derry because here beside the benevenagh mountain it hasnt even started but as i look up to the mountain it looks as though its starting to is it?

im living beside a mountain beween coleraine and derry which got snow on monday night which still has some snow this shows how cold it is, i really hope that the snow that were supposed to get tonight will come should lie the ground is sooooooooooo dry here can anyone make a guess on how much we might get?

im apsouketly discusted this time last year it must have snowed a hundred times and i accully thought it would be their in the morning but it wasnt! it shows how bad it is when london gets snow i think i might end up moving there.

is there an heavy snow heading for the limavady inland to coleraine area because its 1c and have a lovely base of froozen hail ,also if it does come how much would we expect?

what happened to al the rain ,snow and rising temperatures , it seems that the temperature only rised about a degree but now its on its way down and the rain is clearing.

excuse me but i dont think you know what youre talking about because here in north western northern ireland we must have at about 45 frosts over a period of 1 and a half months.

when you sign if for the radar only supscribtion is it just pay once and then that lastd a month and then is it cancelled

yeah it was quite windy last night but later through the night it snowed only lied above 100m and today it snowed again and then rained at 4c and stopped and then started and dropped the temperature to 2c , i was begining to worrie about tonights snow but now we have a higher chance!

snowed here at about 3.00am for about 10min and left a covering of about 6inches on the mountain and about 10 min ago it snowed again looks like its going to snow all day and tonight with some significant accumulations!!!

Don't think your best placed for snow right on the north coast but you never know.
Currently 3oC here also, with heavy rain and squally winds, lovely stuff.
well actualy your wrong because werere nearly always affected worse than you!!!!!!

what another bitter dissapontment i cant beleive that we missed out on about 6inches of snow over 1c! does anyone know if their is anymore heavy snow heading for limady area so that we can get some snow, the mountains about 1 mile up the road must have over six inches of snow!
