    Dead as a door nail here in Dagenham, no rain, or sleet. Had Sleet overnight, then Heavy Rain.

    Snowing Heavily here in Dagenham. Heaviest of the day so far, and getting dark. Temps dropping slowly, hence the heavier snowfall.

    Been snowing constantly since around 11:30am, on and off before that with 6" lying powder snow. Snow is moderate, to light at times, smallish flakes if I'm being honest. Depth in my garden is nearing 7-8"'s This will go down in the archives as a true dumping, and falls in line with 1991 without doubt. 1991 better in my book, but this is special also.

    Fantastic Snow today in Dagenham East, Essex. 1991 Re-Born! Been powder snowing for 3 hours non stop be it light to moderate at times, current depth on the roads is 2", my back garden is showing 3" and tomorrow is when we get some real heavy stuff, well I'm in heaven indeedy! 02 Feb 2009, the SE comes to a complete HALT! Love it!

    Really will be something tomorrow, looks as though people will snow like they've never seen it before! I predict 10", I've got 3" so far in my back garden, and that's from occasional showers.
