There's alot of sferics in the Atlantic just N of Ire. Where are these thundery showers/thunderstorms? If I lived within the risk area I would be feeling very disappointed. I am already! Nothing over here now...

Is anyone in Preston? Theres a dirty great big one thats still growing, its been to the NE of me for quite a while.

I'm expecting a thunderstorm in the next few hours, it'll be the first one here this year!

Well things are looking really good for my location for tomorrow afternoon and evening, the best cape and li so far this year for lancashire. It looks like any heavy showers or storms that do develop will move westwards towards my area. This setup hasnt happened so far this year for the north west so im hoping showers will build as they move across towards me, no sea to kill them off. As for the weekend most areas look at high risk including me, but like others on the thread say it is subject to change, im just hoping it holds.

Possibly a 29c in the SE, although I think this hot spell will be relatively short-lived. After which there are indications there will be a fair few thunderstorms around, then it will probably be around average again. Oh well.

After a bitter disappointment the other day, Im still waiting for the first storm of the year here!
