ayrshire will get some snow at some point once that stuff from down south heads our way main event just being spoken about on here not me haven't seen any data to suggest any main event i think there is a general warning on the met-office for wed-thur matters are unknown yet

most folk were predicting that the main event for us would be Tuesday into Wednesday still not sure its cold enough yet i did say last night that i thought the met-office would change there warning for the strathclyde area but iam still not sure that we are going to really get any worse unless the temp really drops

snowing heavy again here. really dark now we could be doing with some more expert advice on the Scottish board to help with predicting this event

i would say i am about 5-6 miles from the city center of Glasgow really turning dull here in cambuslang again will post a few pics shortly my camera is playing up

we usually get a lot coming down from east kilbride griiters struggling to keep roads open down here

heavy snow here a while ago here in cambuslang in south lanarkshire brightened up a bit now but its been coming and going most of the morning

not saying for sure but i reckon if they suspect it yet cant prove it just yet. i think they will issue a warning anyway just to be on the safe side

i think tomorrow the met-office will update warnings for the whole of Scotland at the moment i don't think they know what to expect just yet. i suspect they will increase the warnings

wanna phone the met-office and let them know cus they aint really reporting anything on met-office nice to see updated information

yes my hope is some will get through to us in lanarkshire. will be watching carefully tomorrow night onwards unless the met-office change there mind again??

yes i feel they really will get it bad for a time can see this one being mentioned for years to come in the media. wonder if Gordon brown will declare a emergency and claim to save the poor folks of eastern england

been watching these forums since the start of winter and would like to add how disappointed i have been in the weather forecasting from the met-office. strathclyde area always being downgraded do we get no fun? as for snow i honestly cant see anything coming our way in and around the strathclyde area we seem to just get extreme rain these days however i remain hopefull :lol:
