Just keeps on coming here. Whiteout continuously, 0.2 C. Radar suggests no sign of stopping anytime soon. Maybe get tomorrow off work too!

View of the back garden (facing west). Showers becoming almost continuous now.

Just drove 4 miles down a single track road to pick up some bread and milk. Conditions very bad - more than 30 mph and you're slaloming. Lots of cars being a little too optimistic speed-wise and sliding. Glad I decided not to go to work in Edinburgh. Still snowing heavily and hovering around 0 C.

A good 5cm lying here this morning. -0.2 C with moderate snow showers passing over all the time. Lovely.

Radar suggests so. 'very slight' ppn has increased a lot in area over the midland valley eastwards in the past few hours, with hints of heavier stuff moving in? Guess I will have to sleep before I see any real action though.

Probably 0.01 cm here now. No way I can make it to work tomorrow :lol: Very light/tiny flakes, but it has been continuous since about 8, and very slowly getting heavier. Hoping so anyway.

Just joined up after a few years of reading in the background.... Great forum - really enjoy a good cold/snow ramp. Prospects look great to me; have not seen such a synoptic set up in quite a long time. Currently 0 C, and finally snowing very lightly here. Will have trouble sleeping tonight - difficult to resist sticking my head out the window...
