it has been raining non-stop here for god knows how long. It was light for an hour but now its getting real heavy again! At the bottom of my road there is a small stream that runs at the back of some houses! someone has just told me its overflowed onto the path which is not good news for them guys cos that means their back gardens will start getting flooded

yea just wet here too! It's still raining buckets tho, even tho the sky looks brighter

I dont understand! Isn't this a storm risk discussion thread! you cant always predict when a storm is going to happen and we have had electrical activity this morning, there have been reports of thunder! We r entitled to be interested in extreme weather and it has been extreme rainfall! Im not just interested in storms! Im excited about extreme weather of any kind! Including heavy rain causing extreme flooding and the possibility of a thunderstorm! You cant say that the risk of a thunderstorm has been completely off the cards

brighter here now but still persistent rain! looking dark to my N/E

yea its NE but all the heavy stuff is currently circling over south/central parts its still very heavy rain here

well... i wouldn't rule out more heavy rain today

very heavy here and dark! Its chucking it down with rain and the bottom of our street is flooding

ther is a bit of a break in the clouds above me. over to my west it is very dark

yep! its nasty here! raining quite heavy! I left an empty glass out side lastnight and there is about 3 inches of rain water in it this morning! flaash warnings for heavy rain for worcestershire and herefordshire today on met office

thanks for your reply andy! I had just got in from work and came straight here without checking the radar first! No wonder noone is here if nothin is happeni ng lol! it just feels so stormy! It's weird!
