    I would just like to state that I'm no weather expert so I just post things as I see them. Please accept my humblest apoplogies for not knowing what the true definition of a blizzard was. !

    Is that what constitutes a blizzard? I'm not versed in weather jargon that's why I likened it to a blizzard. Well, it was quite windy, snow nearly horizontal and visibility quite restricted.

    It's been snowing quite heavy on and off here. Starting again at this moment.

    Broken cloud overhead here at the moment. A 5 minute heavy snow shower just passed through.

    Snowing quite a lot here ( Lowestoft ). It wasn't supposed to be here until midday according to the weather forecasts.

    Sleet nearly snow ....pouring down!

    Sleety snow now...lots of it. Like a downpour if it was rain.

    It shows how local it is ( 10 miles ). It's been snowing here since about 9 am, some of it heavy. Stopped now though.

    Still snowing reasonably heavy here.

    Large flakes and a lot of them here in Lowestoft. Only about 1/2 inch thick on my front wall at the moment.

    There's no weather warnings for the Lowestoft area but it may be a bit windy as some lady just bought 48 tins of Heinz beans from Tesco ....... !
