    Very light snow in barnstaple right now, hope this is the big band of snow coming here.

    Yes thats very annoying, looks like it will hit mid - west cornwall, all though there is more snow coming from the north, just about where it ends up.

    They is some pretty heavy snow coming from the north looking to hit Devon and cornwall id say in about 2 hours time.

    Looking at the forecasts there is some very lucky people in the east counties of the south west, I just hope it moves further west through the night to north devon.

    Snow has stopped in north devon after a fair good bit of snow, now starting to thaw very slightly. Met office has snow here starting at 3pm again but can check raintoday right now, wont load.

    Man this is getting confusing. So there could be snow tonight in parts of the SW. Then wednesday will bring snow to all parts. BBC has rain for this channel low in the west of the SW.

    I this pep on its way dosent fall as snow i give up. Was a cold night, -3 at about midnight kept waking up from the cold. 0c here now.

    -2 in barnstaple and a sharp frost, seems there is some warming near the north coast, still a beautiful night.

    Damn these showers just keep missing barnstaple. Now that big band is moving most west .

    Showers hitting west devon and looks like cornwall right now, that big shower seems to have gone south east, but then theres a heavy streak of a shower in north wales right now. Just have to hope they hit here

    Going by a weather website the dewpoint is -8, very good for snow, maybe there is some warmer air in these showers hope not.

    How do you find out the dewpoint for your area?

    The met office has a temp of -3 and rain tonight for barnstaple, is that possible at those temps, i damn hope not.
