  1. Heavy graupel in a really stiff wind in Hexham
  2. Went out back 10 min ago to measure. 4" but has started to snow the heaviest flakes yet.
  3. Hexham this morning. Roads were great yesterday morning, but when I came home from work the A69 was down to 40mph with accidents and I struggled to get up hills. People pushing cars up station road into town. Not commuting today.
  4. Snowing finally here. Certainly nothing to write home about though.
  5. The big mass looks like it is dissipating on Raintoday radar
  6. Heavy shower in Hexham. Last night was the first real snow we've had.
  7. Snow started about 10 am in Hexham with tiny flakes. Bigger now, very steady and just starting to lie.
  8. Typical. Huge patch on the radar comes straight for Hexham and evaporates 5 miles away.
  9. Father in law has 5 inches in Washington. Not a flake in Hexham, it was like a spring day here this morning. I was shocked when we got into Newcastle and saw the snow.
  10. Well, I don't have to worry about digging my car out at the airport on Friday. My flight back tomorrow has been cancelled, I guess Heathrow is FUBAR. Earliest return I can get is Monday for Tues arrival! Looks like I might just have missed all the fun. StormChaser, do you know what the roads around Great Park (where the Sage offices are) look like?
