I don't post on these forums but frequently visit to see what the weather has instore for us. However recently it has become more like a visit to my childrens school at lunchtime! I read the more experienced members posts ie teits, ns, sm posts as they contain a lot of learning material for us all, they do not get paid to do it! I think more should be grateful and give this bias arguement up, it is something I'd expect my 6 year olds to argue about!!

I never post in here because I have not got the experience or intelligence of you guys regarding the weather but really enjoy lurking and Reading all the posts but could someone more knowledgable answer a novice question? The so called beast from the east came up almost overnight as has the latest mild scenerio. What makes everyone so certain that it won't switch back again?

even our Julie reneger on BBC look east to-night said we might get 8 inches over night it just depends how far north it goes just looking at the radar it looks like it could be bad as , already they some very deep red shades in the West country already looks like London in for a big hit again on Friday morning lets hope the grit holds out here they say we got 3 weeks left

Hi I'm new to all this.

Live in Bury st edmunds.

Have been intruding on these boards all week, it's been very interesting.

We had a lot of snow Monday morning poss 5" and a covering this morning. This is still lying in parts but has been lightly raining all day. Temp is now 2 and rain has stopped, what are the chances of seeing some more heavy snow tonight and tomorrow.

Any thoughts would be appreciated! ta burygirl
