I'm 1 happy bunny as I got prepared in October with waterproofs & slieghs for the kids, bring it on!!!! :-))) Hope everyone is lucky x

  2. Possibly, I'm not going to look any further until Monday/Tuesday next week otherwise it will all go pear shaped!

    *starts a Mexican wave*

Hi all, I'm unable to look at charts etc :-( Glad to hear whispers of something in the pipe work, as after an intense week with regaurds to our weather, I have to admitt that I have been left a little dissapointed :'( I am not asking for armeggedon, just a little excitement in my location :-s

  3. Aww come on snow!!! Light rain here now :-( Temp been hovering between 3.5 & 2.5 all afternoon. Plenty of pics from those who get lucky please ;-) Happy lampost watching. Does anyone have the latest on the low? I only have access through my phone, so I am limited to going by what other fellow posters write. Enjoy your evening fellow Welshies :-))

P.S On peoples posts there is a tick showing on my phone. Are these to be clicked if I like the post? Thanks in advance x

  4. old weather online ones - website has now been scrapped and gone to website heaven! - awwwwwwwwww

a good percentage of Wales is gonna see a fair smattering of snow this time round overnight thursday/friday - i'll be out in newbridge till midnight assisting the mrs with her series of whitney houston tribute gigs - so lets hope we can get home before it gets bad - could be touch and go

Really hope we get some snow that sticks around for the weekend :-) Where is your better half simging? Hotel? We have a charity gig on down crumlin, maybe I'll need to borrow the kids sleigh? :-0

  5. Finally, this thread is working :-) The 1987 storm was the first and the last real storm I can recall. I was 6 years old at the time and there was just my mother and I at home. We watched out of the window by candle light because the electricity had been knocked out. I remember the howling wind and the fork lightening, it hit the huge oak tree on the patch, a few hundred yards in front of our house. It actulally split the tree :-0

  6. Most of us in for a chilly, very windy day tomorrow, blustery showers of rain, hail and some snow over the high ground above about 250m. Severe gale gusts and a possibility of minor damage in places. Hard to be any more specific preally.

Wind and rain has eased here, the isobars wider behind the warm front, very mild at 10c now. Worst of the rain should clear the east soon after midnight.

Thankyou very much for taking the time to reply Tony :-) Rain seems to have eased here in the last half hour and haven't had any noteable wind. Time to hit the hay I think, goodnight all x

  7. Evening all, just looking for some weather reports in Wales right now. Been following the atlantic storm thread, but as I am on my phone, I am unable to look at charts etc and peoples location doesn't show up. Could anyone be so kind as to give me a rough idea of what's in store for S.Wales (crumlin-NP11 3DL) tonight and tomorrow please? Had a "mini tornado" through here in the summer, which caused a lot of damage in seconds. I like many others on here, love a good old gale/storm, providing everyone is safe of course. I would just like to give my family and friends the 'heads-up'. I did ask in the atlantic storm thread last night, but am still waiting for a reply to my post :-( If anyone could help me out, I'd be truly greatful :-D Happy weather watching all x
