LOL, yeah sounds good. I was just curious because about 3 weeks ago on a Saturday we had 1 huge house shaker of a rumble (and that was it). Maybe I'm just trying anything so I'm not in this club till 2010
Edit: Either that or a earth tremor lol
How about breeding these storms everyone else gets? Does that count?? If it does, we've bred many lately
-
Just to clarify.....What will get me out of the NSC09? A rumble and a flash? just a rumble? just a flash? rain for good measure?
-
Thought I'd lost my sense of humour with all this no storms mularky, but that made my day. So you was on a promise hey? LMAO
Well done gents, absoloute class Hope I'm out befrore Jane Louise

When the SE are forecast storms they get them, when we are forecast storms they still get them and we don't, what is going on I wanna know???????
-
I can't be doing with all this storm talk, had fierce looking clouds building up again today, just to b**ger off again!!! Things that make you go AAAGGGRHHH!!!! I just give up

Ahem! Out you go sir...ex-members no longer allowed...come back on January 1st 2010
In other words...sod off and let the storm starved suffer in peace
-
Moderate rain here now and the clouds are still rolling in, no T or L though
-
The clouds here look an orangey colour here now
-
It's not FAIR!! nothing happened at all today! I really thought today would be the day. arggggggggggggghhhhhhhh
I really give up now.
I was even looking forward to a nice sunset at least out here camping, but noooo that never happened either. grrrrrrrrr
*hands Jane a tissue*....I'm sure while everyone else is loving their storms, we will get the real corkers (1 day) lol. It can't even manage a decent attempt at rain here let alone a storm aggrhhh!!!

This is the thunderstorm that produced the funnel/tornado in Stanley and also these
beautiful undulatus clouds, the pictures were taken from South Shields a good 15 mile
away from Stanley it was moving over Newcastle at the time 10 mile away approx.
Very impressive

The top right of the picture shows Cardiff North and Rhondda Cynon Taff very dark indeed as it is lightning here now.
Woohoo!!! Send it my way please <_< , I'm still in the NSC

Ok, Im no photographer, but I am going to take some pics now. The clouds forming at an imense rate. One looks like a huge ring doughnut. At leats I have these to take my mind off the lack of any other action. Still very windy, but these clouds really are amazing.
-
Must say, where ever these clouds are heading, someone is in for some serious action.
-
One pathetic light measly little shower.....all the convection (which admittedly looks very impressive) is from my perspective in the wrong direction to me....the sky from where the weather is coming from carries as much threat and menace as a mincing morris dancer!
Hi ho.....back to sleep I go zzzzzzzzz
I share your frustration, toatally sucks. Seen some beautiful TC forming, just so they can hop it to those places that never get any storms *cough! cough!!* (a hint of jelousy) The only thing that was keeping me going was someones webcam I was watching, but even that isnt working now I know netweather has us under a low storm chance today, but please, someone tell me I might get lucky at somepoint today PLEASE PLEASE *with a cherry on top*
-
Seen some lovely TC forming and moving away, looks like were the breeding ground AGAIN!!!!!!!
-
that then involes moving the computer, give it 10 mins if it's still back building and not getting anywhere soon, ill move the computer.
Sounds great and looks great.
p.s loving the phone convo lmao. BANG!!!!!!!!
Are the clouds rotating?
-
Right folks hull weather station is back on de road, you can see a huge cell just missing me to the left here;
Family members in the HU17/Catwick/Leven catchment have had there bungalow struck twice, with power out.
That cloud looks great right now, makes up for the lack of action I'm getting
-
Here's a timelapse I did today, I started at about 14:30 way before the storm had developed, so I was quite lucky when it passed in view.
I've cut a lot out from before, but I think this is the most interesting part...
Mark.
looks awesome Mark
