  1. Temps in Derby 0.1 degs dewpoint 0 deg. Colder than yesterday - seems to be faily static - just hoping this snizzle turns to proper snow not rain
  2. The snow I have waiting all day and night has finally arrived in Derby .................................... as rain Oh well, might turned to snow later Enjoy, everyone else edit: Snizzle - my back soft top car roof has turned white - maybe a good sign
  3. Slizzle in Derby Nothing on radar though. Paid for a month Netweather but have to say not too impressed with it. I'm finding free ones better. Dont think I'll pay for a second month - certainly needs some work. (I'll get lynched now ) but if they need feedback back - you got it.
  4. My temps decreasing now 0.7 but dewpoint has just started to rise quite rapidly 0 deg at mo.
  5. What makes you think it hasnt moved in an hour - I'm sure it has - albeit slow
  6. I am more ooptimistic about temps now - although 1 deg dewpoint has dropped to -0.5 (this is the first time it has been negative since Sunday morning) and its dropping so more likely to be snow. Its bitterly cold outside and i cant belive still 1 deg - I rckon that will drop considerably. Come PPN - up you come. The Welsh have had their share its our turn now
  7. OMG juts check the radar have you seen whats coming from SW. Hope it deosn't fall as rain though I will bes sooooo disappointed. My current temps are very slightly less than yesterday 0.9 deg dp 0.5 - saw light flurries of snow in the morning yesterday with rain in the afternoon. temps stayed fairly static yesterday throughout the day. We seem to get best snow from that direction (never quite gets going when comes in from East). Whats others thoughts - is it likely to bring the cold with it so temps juts that ickle bit so we see snow and not mush http://www.metoffice...ather/uk/radar/ http://www.meteogroup.co.uk/uk/home/weather/radar/europe.html
  8. Doesnt southern Ireland look wierd on this http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/ Northern ireland has its snow shield up Wouldnt this be great to be in mids - bullsyee in centre of England. Its does seem to be pepping up on radar charts
  9. Temp remains static at 1.3 deg since 2pm (dp 0.7) Note 'apening ere m'duck
  10. I think there's something up with radar - take a look at metofffice radar 11.30 - see that strange line - seen it on other charts too - I'm hoping it means data is rubbish and as Sunday no one there to fix it I live in hope - just hate seeing the PPN fizzle out. My temp is still drop 1.7 from a day high of 2.3 my dewpoint is still a day high of 0.7 but hasnt change for over an hour. Snowing intermittantly with wet big flakes but not settling.
  11. It reached 2 degs yesterday in Derby - my temps starting to dip a little - hopefully a downward trend. I think the downgrades are because it not going to happen in South - I still think we'll get something out of this later - just want the dewpoint to start dipping now From what I am hearing its going to refreeze tomorrow
  12. On a good note p I havent seen any rain - few flakes in the air
  13. Good that means we might get it - never does what they say My dew point has just tipped postive though but temperature has stopped increasing (2.2 deg)
  14. 2 deg in Derby and rising - if that PPN falls as rain I'm going to cry (dewpoint still negative though - although rising)
  15. Why are all the the significant events always a few days a head. Its the "Tomorrow never comes syndrome"
  16. My temps are increasing 0 degrees although dew point remains -3
  17. Forest Ladies !!!!! Check the logo = de ladies are better than the red dog men's team - promise Anyhow, what about tomorrow - do you think its going to be a damp squib or the Snowmegeddon they are predicting.
  18. Forest Ladies - Derby County men's team Is that worse than Magpies
  19. Actually I think its just starting up again theres a few flakes in the air. Maybe been blown to Skeggie and back
  20. Well I could buy that if it was just a small red blob - but these blobs are huge www.raintoday.co.uk - its let me down today
  21. I've never met you, honest It is disppointing though - you track the radar - theres abig red blob over your head and there's no snow Maybe freebie radar is rubbish Took pic below - Darley Park, Derby looking fab in the snow
  22. Anyone seeing any snow - according the radar there should be some around. I'm in Derby and none here.
  23. Temp riing fast in Derby 1.4C and rising - dewpoint -2.5 hopefully that will still mean snow. Will someone switch off the sun please Off sledging now
  24. I have given up with Metoffice radar - its currently showing nothing over Derby and its been snowing for a while - same happened yesterday. Raintoday seems to be be best for me but they have annoyed me as they have switched the zoom off - just get a better server!!! cheapskates. Also from announcements on their websites looks like they may be charging soon. My weather station arrived last night woo hoo (my best christmas present ever) just need to find somewhere to fix it - not easy thing to do.
