No she's in Staveley house, up the hill above the station. She's ok I guess went to see her yesterday, considering she's nearly 82, with advanced Parkinson's she is a tough old bird! She was groggy after a 4 hour op, but was still able to keep the nurses on point!!!

Good to hear I know the place , just beyond the small Tarn  there is a farm that belongs to family member

I AM in the Lakes lots of folk going up on the hills, but I had to stay close to barracks as duty leader this weekend. Complicated by my mother falling at her care home in Dalton and ending up with a broken hip. Now in Furness General for the duration with some fancy meccano in her...

Thank god we shelved the idea of taking her sledging!!

Currently in Tunisia and I’ve had the sunrise at just after 7am local time and sunset towards 6pm. It’s very much noticeable the difference that near extra hour makes to a day when compared to the UK.

Shame we’ve had Northerlies or NW winds for 5 out the 6 days so far, only yesterday was it warm and comfortable for shorts and flip flops!

Noticed that in gran canaria  sunset around 6.45 though mornings much the same as UK

Sadly those mild charts rarely downgrade. If the show in two consecutive runs they stay form until t0 unlike easterlies and northerlies that can implode even at t72 hours.

Looking outside this morning I can't help but think how beautiful February can be. But all change from tomorrow. ..:(

Indeed the futures looking grim ,maybe a late cold spell ,who knows
