Do you think West London will get anything? storm clouds have been towering since early morning but nothing is happening

A bit dull to my SE, but I imagine thats due to outflow from Johnny Frog's storms.

If we have to have uncomfortable warmth and humidity, can't we at least have uninterrupted sunshine with it?

Sun out in West London for the moment, dont think we will get any storms, so much for the torrential rain!!!!!!!!

Thanks John - we have the Dew Points, but I fear the sun may have popped out just a little to late to get to the required temeratures without any help from convergence etc.

The London area (Northolt and Heathrow stations reading 22C currently) almost has the required temps.. I wonder if anything will kick off there in the next hour or so...

We're just getting that really heavy pulse here in Penkridge......Its still a very warm and sulty 22.3C outside....I opened the lounge window to get some cooler air in the house, and its warmer outside than inside!

Wish that was the case here its boiling inside open the windows to get some air in and it is making it even wamer!

Think I am going to join the no storms club! although looking good for the afternoon the storms will prob be to the North of London even though the weather forecaster said the west I doubt it all the action happens in the North fingers crossed

It's only 6am and im not anywere near the thunderstorm storm risk map showing the SW with thloundrstorms, but here In the the SE/ SW London i report beiung awoken by multiple thunderstrikes, <_< maybe IC lightning butit shoulded Boomy, there goes another! :lol:
