Booked = Janette and me
Andy did you say you wanted to travel down with us?
Tom
Yeah that will be great if we can. Are you thinking about going by rail or road?
If anyone wants to share a room to half the costs just let me know.
-
Be rude not too, so count me in as well.
Tom , maybe nearer the time we can sort out the travel down if you like.
-
I just want to echo everything what's been said before and thank Tom and Jenette for organising a great bbq and get together. It was a great weekend.
For all that were there I just want to say that the temperature on Saturday night fell to a low of 1.4 c.
-
Who do we have coming at the moment that you know of Tom?
I'm definitiely going, not too far me though. Looking forward to the catch up with everyone and the food and drink. Hopefully the weather will get itself sorted out and be fine for the weekend.
-
Count me in, I'll be there Tom. Be good to catch with everyone.

I like fluffy bunnies.
and watch out for any kamikaze pigeons especially if your in Arkansas!!
Other than that have a good one mate.

Its good to see you all have finally arrived after the delay. Have a great time tour 1 and a great season out there Paul.
-
Hi all,
I really think this season's going to be something special and that's my gut feeling and after all I've read and seen so far. I think were gonna have a few late nights this side of the pond watching the live stream. Gutted I'm not going out there this year but already drawing up the plans to hopefully make a return in 2012.
This time next year I'll also hopefully be a 'wee whizz' on the camera after I've completed the course I'm starting soon.

Yea, their twistadata page is good too, with the forecast soundings available via the same means
Also, spc just issued an MD for Georgia, might get to see an isolated supercell later on on sky sports ! REALLY wish I had 3d now
I'll continue watching the golf just in case.
-
Fantastic work Paul, i'm really enjoying reading through the info.
-
Anytime should be fine with me at the moment, be good to catch up with everyone as I can't make it to the states this year.
-
Hope everyone had a great christmas and I wish everyone a happy new year, and all the best for 2011.
-
I won't be able to make it that weekend as I've got a 30th birthday bash to got to.
-
I can only echo everything that has been said so far.
I just want to say thanks to Ian and his family for hosting the bbq and putting on a superb weekend with loads of nice food and drink. It was great catching up with everyone and meeting a few more people for the 1st time.
I didn't get back home until 6ish. After dropping Tom off the last stretch home was tough when the tiredness really kicked in. Its been a wise move taking tomorow off work.
Got caught up in Traffic on way back around the Junction of the M5 joining the M6. But it was nothing compared to what you guys n gals got caught up in on the M25.
Believe it or not the the sun was also shining when we got back to Cumbria and no rain!! Shock!
I thought they'd be a catch with the tent when it was so easy to set up. BIt of a mission taking it down though but thanks to Jo for finally sorting it out.

I have - it's fun
I'm gonna be honest but I've not experienced thunder and lightening while camping but the idea does sound fun. We just don't get enough of them in the north.
Paul I'm gonna use the phrase ' a UK Heavy Shower' from now on, I can't believe I said that either now after what I seen in the states. Gutted I'm not going to be able to go next year but 2012 will be a definite.
-
Just wondering if anyone has ever been camping before when a storms kicked off during the night?
-
Do I book a B&B or bring the tent, ummm!!!!
-
I like the sound of bacon butties in the morning. Might have to bring some arm bands for Pat just in case he misses the tent and ends up in the river. Let me know if you me to bring anything along.
Tom
Andy , what your plans. If you can get to Kendal you can travel down with me.
Tom
Tom
Yeah would be great if I can, thanks Tom. It shouldn't be a problem getting down to Kendal, I'll just drive down and leave my car there.

Sounds as though there is a compy on..........I'll bring the Braughing sausages...................
Competitions are always good and we'll end up with a great selection on the BBQ if everyone chips in......
-
I'll chip in by bringing a load of Cumberland Sausage with me for everyone to try. A bit of fair competition for the Worcestershire Sausages!
Really looking forward to this now.
-
Stunning pics and great video of the tornado. Awesome!!!! I'm gutted I'm not still out there but keep up the fantastic work.
-
Nah, think Mikel Nimbus might be on your flight.
So far I've found nobody on mine
Harry
I'll be on the BA flight if your on that 1.

Might have been the Air Transat due to land Gatwick . That got diverted a few hours when over the ocean and told to land at Newcastle.
Yeah I think you'll be right there Mondy, because it was a Air Transat plane.
-
A flight just landed at Newcastle after coming from Canada about half hour ago, BBC news channel showed it. It wasn't BA though.
