The weather forecast last night said that thundery downpours would start in wales overnight. We have had a shower ot two but they were very light and no thunder or lightning.Does anyone have an idea when thunder will come into south wales.

I wish we'd get thunder in Cheshire, it's so stuffy, a good storm would clear the air. However, the weather forecast said that by the time they get up to us from down South, they will have frittered away into nothing.

Best chances of t-storms are always in the evening. What ever the BBC/ ITV etc.. they are usually always in the evening. They are not fully developed in the morning and so they have not matured.
