Rumble of thunder in the distance, heard here about 30 minutes ago. Looking at some lightning detectors, some are placing a storm in the Wash right now. Possibly from one of these, as here is sunny!

Hi,

Appears the storm is moving to the south of Cleethorpes at the mo...around the Humberston, Tetney area....and heading out to sea. Just the odd rumble now and again.

Strange, according to metcheck.coms lightning detector, there was one over the sea. Oh well, i certainly heard an isolated rumble of thunder in the distance. Will keep my eyes peeled. Some nice big clouds making their way across the sky here.

Torrential? rain here now for about 10-15 minutes. The odd rumble of thunder, but no lightening.

Quite suddenly stopped now :) Looks like brightening up again.

Full-bloodied thunderstorm over Louth right now - very dark and audible thunder for 20 minutes.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hi,

Sky darkened, looked like your storm was on its way, but after a couple of flashes and a few bangs, it looks as if once again the main cell has missed us by about 2 miles. Heavy rain, big drops now........may get something better later.

Storm now passed away to East. Second storm had heavier rain but less lightning. One strike was very close and very loud, however. Burglar alarms going off everywhere! Cat freaked out. All quiet now. (Newark).

Thunderstorm to south east of here between 1850and 1930, appeared to be somewhere to the south of Nottingham.
