A day of 3 parts weatherwise....

1. Warm and sunny morning,

2. Gradual clouding up around lunchtime then heavy showers inc. nearby thunder,

3. Cloudy with persistent light rain.

Max 22c around midday, fell away to 17c after the showers and 16c now.

A dry and breezy morning with sunny periods and 4-6 oktas cumulus and altocumulus. The afternoon was cloudier but with only one or two short, light showers; there appears to be some sort of anti-shower force field operating around here at the moment as other areas nearby were drenched.

The only significant shower fell between 1725 and 1805 g.m.t, just as I was out on the moor without a coat; there was one muffled rumble of thunder somewhere to the south but the rain here was only moderate.

At 1730 g.m.t the temp' was 13.9c after an overnight min' of 10.7c and a max' today of 19.3c.
