Here's from the Times of 28th and 29th October 1913 of the severe thunderstorms, hailstorms and probable tornado(s)/microbursts that struck parts of southwest England, Wales and up into parts of NW England. Sadly, some people perished and there was extensive damage.

By the following day's edition, the extent of the severe nature of the storms and damage was known
