Boating Weather

Working on the canal system in the uk i see a lot of people enjoying the great british countryside and cities, but i have to say most of the talk is about our weather, some say spending up to £1000 for a weeks holiday spoilt by the weather, ill never do that again, some dont mind the weather at all, many overseas holiday boaters love a bit of rain. Has anyone done a boating holiday, if so did the weather make or ruin your holiday
