Currently experiencing a downpour of sleet, soft hail and proper pea sized hailstones leaving a white covering. Glad I'm not walking or driving :lol:

Had quite a few hail showers 2day, one or two pretty heavy but not lasting long I might have been seeing things, but i think i saw sleet mixed in there too. or is that my imagination? :?

Heavy hail showers several times throughout this afternoon, sleety at times in heaviest bursts.

in south croydon at about 1545 today, there was a quite tremendous shower which started as hail, then changed to rain with sleet and finally to hail with sleet/snow. it left about 1cm of white slush on all surfaces, and for about 10 mins the roads were like rinks!! winter doesn't want to let go!!!!!!

There has been a couple of showers here within the last hour.

They all contained hail, as I could hear it coming down.
