I count eight vents now at Geldingadalir. Looks like the valley will soon be gone altogether.

Interesting that the earth tremor is low

Interesting in what way? Steady as you go for an ongoing and widening eruption?

Looks like we are down to four active vents at Geldingadalir and only one web cam.

They haven't got the other one working yet, may be they can't get to it anymore, who knows. I don't know if the other vents have stopped being active though, have they said something somewhere?

Back to two cams now. Eruption maybe easing of a bit as well. If this is because the dyke is being obstructed more fissures may open elsewhere to relief the pressure.

Flo can has definitely been moved, a very different angle on those other cones now.

Luv to know how high the camera is from the lava. They'll need to shift it again probably in a week.

Eruption plodding along camera's repaired and moved location in some cases. Activity looks still be declining a bit to me but what do I know.

Think there's a new eruption on this cam, just to the left and below the one on the right.

I think five vents are active the northern most have died a death. Would help if Bob stopped smoking though.

Down one web cam and the weather means there's nothing to see at the moment.

Lava has began to flow back into the Meradal valley again apparently. They also started to merge with the early flow. This prompted evacuation of people on the ridge. Apparently the flow rate has also dropped back to five cubic metres the long term eruption average. The depth of the lave in Geldingadalur  has reached 16 meters as the valley slowly fills.

There's visual on all cams now, and I think there are some changes. Less activity. Let's see what it looks like this evening. The first eruption might be just a gasser now on both creators, but might just be lighting. Also the one one the far left seems to be quiet too.

Got the depth wrong in Geldingadalur it's 45 to 50 metres deep. Pretty impressive. looks like we are down to four active vents with Bob now just a smoker.

Well Bobs gone quiet and interestingly all the tremor has died away in Iceland.

The one next Bob has got a nice fountain going all day. The others all look like they are ready to shut down soon.

Some nice fountaining again. Bob slowly slumping in a bit there won't be much too see of the ordinal cone. Looks like three eruptive vents two via lava tunnels. Oh new fissure opening just now.

That's if it can get going may just be a little fumes and water vapour and give up.

Looks like we are now down to one active vent and one steam area.
