Quite a change this afternoon to sunny conditions and TCU but bringing alot of low cloud with them,but the clearer gap did show some thundery showers passing by to the south CB`S east to west!! between 3 and 4.30pm last rumble heard,had a shower but didn`t last long otherwise.

15.3c now with a freshening N/NE wind.

Have noticed something interesting, If you compare the NetWeather Jetstream charts from the GFS to the latest satellite images of Europe e.g. sat24.com , you can clearly see where the jetstream lies on the satellite images, as it seems to be followed by cloud for nearly the entire path that you can see. (Although this effect was a bit better earlier this afternoon when I looked)

Here it has been quite a nice day with sunny intervals and a light-moderate breeze after a more cloudy start, and a few distant large cumulus and cumulonimbus cells during the mid-late afternoon.
