Would love to chase tomorrow. I'm in Loughborough, East Midlands. Unfortunately without a car at the moment and have to be back in Loughborough Tuesday morning anyway.

If anybody is chasing tomorrow theres no doubt I'll be watching the radar, satellite and detectors from mid afternoon so can do a bit of nowcasting if anybody needs it. Just give me a PM.

I might take you up on that you know! It would provide an invaluable service to me as I have a pretty ropey phone and it can only get a very basic radar up.

My own target area (with the help of family) is now finalised and will be around the northwest Peterborough area, thinking Rutland Water for a base, but may move further South to Eyebrook Res. Intercepting the cell that may come out of the Warwick area which Stu may also be on.

This location is also handy for the MCS later on in the night, having to go only tens of miles East/West for interception.

I am still thinking Warwick to Peterbrough (as of Midnight Sunday). I have to work untill 17:00 and will only come out ot chase if I see a chance of a Tornado (My bar is quite high!) - but I have seen enough right now to prompt me to at least put a camera in the car for the Midlands / East Midlands area!

CAP over the far south East looks very strong and I am not impressed ether by the hodagraph wind profiles - good luck to all that go out.

:D Are you talking about the Hastings country park? The area known locally as the Firehills? Thats where i'll be. As you say high ground with panaramic views over the channel to the East/SE and West and also inland.

Thats the very location sunnijim. I will be checking on here later today but I plan to start off at the Firehills later this evening. Im also prepared to do some mileage if needs be, though as a starting point I think this is a good one. May see you up there ?? I drive a dark blue Volvo.
