Stuck at 04:55 must be the wrong type of wind.

The Met Office one is now back to usual with all the slides viewablwe until 06.30 so I guess the 07.00 one will be there soon, however the

NW one is stuck at 05.05!

Actually very frustrating when you pay for it, rely on it for work days which are unsettled, and can't then use it!

Will the Netweather team automatically pick up the stuck radar?

We've raised the issue with the met-office as there's a major delay in the data being sent through from them, apologies for the issue but it's out of our hands when they don't send the data.

Latest from the Met Office:

We are experiencing issues with the transmission of data from our systems, which is affecting the transmission of radar data.

Resolution of this issue is being the highest priority

Not properly though.

It's 10.50 and the latest slide viewable is 10.15 while older slides than that are yesterday's!!

Does this sort of Met Office glitch happen on 'non radar needing' days too!? Because it seems to occur quite often when the weather is unsettled.

That's a point we've raised before and will be raising again with the metoffice as it does seem as though their systems only ever have issues on severe weather days. Fortunately these outages are rare, but it's still very annoying..

Wouldn't that be down to the increased amount of traffic though?

Perhaps they should consider an upgrade. If it's like this when there's snow on the way I will create my own radar.

So would it just be coincidence that they have issues with the data on a day with extreme weather?

Interesting to see what actually causes it, might pop them an email later on.

Thank you Paul.

I see the older slides are now showing today's rain so that's good.
