After a long day on the road, the tour visited the Big Texan yesterday, and plan to head north today, presumably with the windows down as the combined meal of around 4kg of steak and a few litres of beer will be making it's presence felt today...

Dave will be keeping you posted here and on the stream.

Afternoon guys, Nicks blog pretty much sums up our day/night!

We took the long drive north from Sonora > Ozona > Lubbock > Amarillo.

There is only one place to eat in Amarillo and that's the 'Big Texan' all guests said it was the best steak they have ever had! This place just can't be beaten for atmosphere, value and quality!

The weather pattern over the next few days is looking very quiet and we will be picking off any storm we can, we are going to bust a grove to Colorado as there is a small chance storms might fire off the Rocky Mountains.

First stop is Dumass and Braums!
