Just had this little guy come in to the garden and go behind some pallets so I gave him some food and then off he went

Sounds pretty typical. Little free loaders.

What did you feed the hog with?

They can also hang around for ages eating you out of house and home and then disappear for months only to return if you are lucky months later.

Sadly I found two dead baby hoglets that apeared to have been attacked by a cat. Presumaby mum was too big to take on.
