There is quite rightly a lot of news on the record low sea ice levels in the Arctic. There doesn't seem to be as much news generated about record low temps for the time of year recorded in Greenland yesterday, -39, almost 10 degrees lower than the previous record?http://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2012/09/09/excellent-news-from-the-greenland-country-club/

Stark contrast to the low to mid 20's they were recording recently.

I think there may be differences between day and night.@harsh

My mistake, was fooled by the link posted by yido http://stevengoddard...d-country-club/ which does not prove the claim so here is one that does show it at -39C on the 8th September http://weather.glads...e=04418&days=28

Temps looking pretty normal for the towns of Greenland in the short term http://www.yr.no/place/Greenland/
