A cloudy and windy day with a few spots of rain during the morning and the early afternoon and then a spell of moderate-heavy rain from 1645, lasting into the early evening. The wind decreased quite quickly once the rain arrived.

Very windy (SE to south) with severe gale gusts to mid afternoon, after which it moderated.

Light rain at times last night, then almost continuous rain from mid morning to early evening. This was very heavy at times afternoon. At 1405 a tremendous squall with torrential rain and a little hail came through, peak rain rate of 108mm/ hour!

The rain finally stopped early this evening, but there have been some heavy showers since.
