Sun is quite low all day now, plus showery activity was mostly near the coast with more clear patches inland for afternoon sun especially to shine through.

Drizzly rain all day here though it hasn't quite reached 5mm.
With low evaporation rates it feels like the onset of permanent mud season but we have been dry until much later than most years.
Having said that next week looks dry-ish again.

Another couple of day of easterly winds by weekend we should switch round to an SE'ly flow then a southerly flow early next week

Just got back from lakes, what a contrast driving home... lovely sunny conditions with light winds to overcast, damp conditions once i got home.

Will be glad to get rid of these easterly winds for a while and come back once winter proper starts.

Not the nicest weather recently, drizzly and cool. Rather boring really.

Showers really got going after dark with at least 8mm before midnight and 3mm after.
Suddenly month total of 27mm is near average for halfway through.

Around 2 hours since the last shower in Darlo quite a calm day on the whole just a light breeze

The showers seems to be track more SE'ly today the first sign of change as the easterly flow of the past 2 weeks draws to a close

Shower activity seems to of moved northwards today, yesterday they were non stop but it's been mostly dry here today. Expecting temps to rise above average over the coming days but dropping again as we head into next week. Although this easterly has kept things realitvely cool the month average is slightly above due to the east wind stopping temps dropping too low on a night.

Although cloudy and damp it certainly feels milder today now we've finally lost that easterly

Hopefully, we'll see some sunshine this afternoon

Fantastic full moon earlier with a orange tinge to it, very calm outside and a little misty.

Milder few days ahead, but that easterly and blocking theme returns around midweek.

Nice day today more rain on the way tomorrow exact timings uncertain but it's likely to be over all parts of the region by around noon and should clear through in 3 to 4 hours followed by some sunshine

Certainly a chill in the air this evening and a cool few days or so ahead with a mixture of sun and showers, especially to the east.
