Normally this time of year there are about two moths per night that come into my house, ive noticed this summer (and last summer) ive not seen them as frequently as my cat hoped. Could this be weather related? Or are they just not breeding anymore? My poor feline cat all she does is sits at the window totally bored because theres no moths to chase.

Had quite a few in my house, one really big one that had the kids spooked lol. I just said they are similar to butterflies but they prefer night time to day time. Beautiful colours on some of them. Don't get many of those small grey ones down here though.

It's funny someone should bring this up.. I've been getting a barrage of them indoors for weeks, driving me mad!

Can't stand the things so I'm glad there seems to be a lack of them. Had a few at work of a night though.

I think that the remains of most of them are currently splattered across my cars windscreen

plenty here, seems to have been a sudden explosion of insects in the last couple of weeks, especially mossies and midges (little  b@$tards!) though i have seen my first ever stag beetles this year - six so far!

Had this beauty fly in the other night, think it's called a red underwing.

Also had an enormous old lady moth the night before. Woke me up at 3am because of the sound of it crashing around my room.

Lots of moths coming into the house here, plus daddy long legs and some massive mosquitos!
