Trying to find the hottest/coldest temperature display on google street view (UK only) - heres the display from Trafford Centre in Manchester. You may have to zoom in.

I sometimes peruse Google Maps just to see what the weather is doing around the region and further afield across the Northern Hemisphere. There is a wealth of reporting stations for the populated parts of Britain and western Europe but a real scarcity of them in the remote scarcely populated regions that have the more interesting weather. Siberia, the Arctic, the Sahara Desert and the Greenland Icecap are poorly represented!!
