I posted this in a "status update" but thought it was serious enough to start a new thread.

If you see one of these please report it, they are a nasty, nasty invasive species and to tell you how nasty, they keep us under siege in our garden sometimes, especially when picking fruit. Ignore the wasp markings kind, they are fine - it's the ones with the broad black and orange bands as described in the video that you need to look out for.

Been all over our local news the last few weeks.

Massive nest found inTetbury, Glos - destroyed by the relevant authority.

Reports of sightings in N Somerset in last few days. The environ people are onto it, searching for main nest apparently.
