Selfishly IMBY looks great. Even if I don’t get pasted it’s a half hour drive to Llangollen, where I’ll go sledging. Winner.

The northern edge will be a fragmented, drizzly mess. I don't fancy being under that. Throw in the rain shadow covering most of Cheshire and many will be lucky to see 5mm.

I can't see it being a drizzly mess as you put it but intensity of the PPN will be determined on the day itself really. Just keep watching the radar and see what happens instead of writing it off before it begun, if you live in North Lancashire and Cumbria I would understand your frustration.

That’s certainly updated to reflect today’s. It’s new from the Met O

You'd understand my frustration if you'd have invested the time I have in tracking this cold spell. I've got bags under my eyes that big that I'd be charged for extra baggage at the airport.

Turning colder and the existing lying snow will get crusty by the morning here. Very icy tonight too.

Going to be painful viewing for us tomorrow. Pics and reports all over the forum, pictures of snowmen and rulers stuck in the snow. Urgh.

I won't be on here tomorrow  friend of mine says it's 8c on walney

They must have the slightest bit of doubt over the precise track. (He hopes)
