The rain was ridiculously heavy last night wasn't it? More due for tomorrow, time to start getting the sandbags out.

It was heavy aye, but nowt that unusual, well not for hereabouts anyway!

Lots of lightning over West Wales today.

Looking good next week for the next snow chances. Looks like some cold upper air to tap into.  Remember we are going to need at least -8 850s for snow to near sea level; I’m going to say this now before we all get excited about -6s  and -7s again. the above is from a maritime source though; in a continental airmass or  an off-shore flow then the 925s and dew-points are more important.

Two amazing winters in a row back then, 2008-09 before them was alright too. All seems ages ago now.

Oo what’s that I see for Tuesday evening. Oh well it’ll probably end up in the Midlands instead anyway.

Eno forgetting Ken Dodd’s name on the weather forecast just now is possibly the most cringe-worthy thing I’ve ever seen on television.

I wont bother explaining - you had to see it. :/

I can guarantee that if someone had any kind of flu they wouldn't be typing on a weather forum.

The old saying goes if someone put £1000 at the end of the bed and you can reach over to get it, it's not flu it's a bad cold.

I've had flu and believe me you struggle to even lift your own head off the pillow. Pretty much just bed ridden in one position.
