Quick check and looking like good weather ahead,not much above 20c for well into if not mid June coupled with coolish nights in my area,love it. Fingers crossed it stays like this for the next 3 months.....unlikely i know

Where are you? it’s not been any of those things really so... *headscratch*. Definitely not damp very dry apart from rainfall from thunderstorms biblical amounts of rain last night.

Today parts of east mids from a fairly stationary cell had unofficially observed 80-90mm much fell in a hour just south of Northampton, might be a record amount of rain or at least local record that in time.

Spring starting and ending noteworthy.

im in Exeter...damp and cloudy Friday...same yesterday with some thunderstorms late sat...heavy rain this morning cleared up later in the day and was decent evening.

we never saw a cloud up here and reached  23c     more of the same today.. Though should  be about 10am before the over night  thunderstorm clears.

Going to be interesting to see a rainfall map for this month with recent thunderstorms giving large localised totals.

The 1st-21st was unbelievable for sunshine here with over 180 hours. The 22nd-31st looks to come out poor with probably around 30 hours which overall is still a really good month and dry too. Just could have reached the elite months if we wouldn’t have pulled in proper easterlies

The provisional average daily maximum temperature was 17 °C during May making it the warmest May in the UK in a series of records stretching back to 1910. The previous warmest May was in 1992 when the average daytime maximum 16.9 °C.
