Brief showers at times yesterday evening but it was dry by midnight and remained dry for the rest of the night. Mainly cloudy but dry so far this morning.

Clear spells overnight. Bright start this morning, cloud building quickly. Showers in the vicinity. A good deal of cloud through the morning with short sharp showers scattered. The afternoon saw more sunny spells and turning dry, though feeling cool in the brisk westerly wind.

Further rain last night, some heavy bursts. The rain cleared towards midnight leaving clear spells. Sunny spells to start the day, cloud bubbled up quickly producing showers, these becoming heavy with hail in the vicinity.
